By right, fireworks shooting should be one lesson by itself. I’ll show you the simply way how to shoot fireworks photo at night.

In a black dark night, it is impossible to focus on the speeding fireworks? Don’t worry. You can shoot it in another few steps:

Setup Tripod for best firework effect

Switch to Manual Focus.

Use “S” mode (Time mode) which allows you to set the exposure time.

ISO 400 should be good enough.

Adjust the time you want. For eg: 1 sec to 5 sec according to the fireworks pattern and your needs.

This is my first fireworks photography. Sorry it was vibrated without tripod on hand for 5 seconds. Anyway, I’m satisfied with my first firework shoot!

Since firework exist for only a few seconds, you may need to try different settings to find out the best settings. It is not always have chance to learn firework photography. Don’t miss out good opportunity to learn during big event or theme park firework show.

Please share with me if you have any firework photo.

Don’t you think the carved word on the roof looks like Chinese word “禾”. Which mean standing grain, the daily basic food for Chinese – rice.
